Scalp micropigmentation is a cosmetic treatment for thinning hair or hair loss. We use thin, small needles to deposit tiny dots of pigment (color) on the scalp. This give the appearance of thicker hair. We use organic cosmetic-grade, permanent ink. Scalp micro pigmentation can hide thinning areas on your scalp. It may also hide birthmarks or scars left behind from treatments like hair transplants. The treatment can also give the illusion of having shaved hair or a “buzz cut” on people who are bald. Scalp micropigmentation is noninvasive and doesn’t require surgery or anesthesia. Who is scalp micropigmentation for? The treatment can create the appearance of thicker hair in people who have: -Alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss. -Chemotherapy-related hair loss. -Hair loss in women. -Hormonal conditions that cause hair loss, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). -Male pattern baldness, receding hairline or baldness at the crown of the head. -Thin hair, edges, or scalp show-through. -Scars or birthmarks on the scalp.
